Chamber Sector Data Report Wins National Award
Alexandria, Va. (June 3, 2025) —The Greater Federal Way Chamber has been named one of 12 Communications Award of Excellence winners by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE).
ACCE’s Awards for Communications Excellence program is designed to showcase top communications and marketing work of chambers of commerce and similar organizations.
The Greater Federal Way Chamber of Commerce was selected as an Award of Excellence winner in Communications for their 2024 Sector Data Report publication.
A panel of communications and marketing professionals from 12 U.S.-based chambers of commerce evaluated the entries submitted for this year’s competition. The 12 winning entries will now go on to compete for the Best in Show title within their category at ACCE's annual convention in Philadelphia during in July.
“Our Chamber believes economic data sets a baseline for growth in our South King region,” said Chamber CEO Rebecca Martin, CCE. “Data-driven strategies help to guide job creation as well as identify opportunities for retention and expansion.”
One of only 3% of Chamber executives in the country with the CCE designation from ACCE, Martin is the only Chamber executive on the west coast with the CCE certification. “The Sector Data report is a valuable resource for businesses, policymakers and community leaders, offering actionable insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning,” she said.
The annual sector report is an analysis aimed at driving economic development in the Federal Way region. The chamber’s team collaborated with Lightcast and e-Impact to access comprehensive labor market analytics for a publication that identifies growth opportunities, empowers stakeholders and showcases the chamber’s commitment to innovation, collaboration and community engagement.

"This year’s winners have creatively celebrated their communities, strengthened local identity and showcased their commitment to inspiring progress and building vibrant, thriving regions.”
