Learn tips and best practices you can apply right now to grow your bottom line. Presenters Shawna Freeman Lane and Rich Shockley will help you develop your own mini-marketing plan.
Workshop includes a marketing manual.
Presenters:
Shawna Freeman Lane is the Interim Associate Dean for Student Learning and Success, a faculty member and a former department coordinator for the Highline College Business department. She earned a Bachelor's degree in journalism in 2011 and a Master's degree in business administration from Augusta State University in 2013. She is currently completing a doctorate in education from Seattle University. She enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her husband, Eric, their daughters, Mary Sophia and Kennedy, and their soon-to-be-born son, James.
Rich Shockley is the Director of Small Business Programs for Highline College and Center Director for the Small Business Development Center at Highline College. He is a Certified Business Advisor and holds a Certified Global Business Professional designation.
He is a graduate of Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business and has a diverse background with over 20 years of business ownership. Rich owned and operated businesses in the area of high tech where he was a partner in a computer service, sales and training business and a co-founder of a consulting business focused on business process improvement & change management. He was also a partner in a company writing trading software in partnership with a private stock trading firm, owner of a property development company and a partner in a specialty coffee retail & franchising company.
