Violin and Swing – An Odd Pair!
Dr. Quinton Morris, violinist, joins Federal Way Symphony’s Swing Band on Sunday, January 29th as part of a varied program of classic swing band music with some modern jazz. Our swing band, led by Todd Zimberg, features Maggie Laird on piano and vocals.
Dr. Morris is a professor at Seattle University, a film maker, and performer who has traveled the world giving recitals in 25 countries in 5 continents. His recently-completed BREAKTHROUGH world tour coupled recitals, educational outreach and community service in hospitals and orphanages.
