Rich Shockley is a Certified Business Advisor and Certified Global Business Professional. He has been an advisor for the SBDC since 2008 and the director of Highline College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) since 2012. Rich has a BA in Business from Western Washington University and a broad background from experience in business ownership.
With 20+ years of experience Rich has owned and operated businesses in the area of high tech where he was a partner in a computer service, sales and training business, he was co-founder of a consulting business focused on business process improvement & change management and currently owns a specialty coffee retail & franchising organization.
Rich enjoys working with businesses where he can contribute as part of their team and with business owners who are willing to learn. Areas of specialty include; business sales/acquisition, business valuation assessment, setting business strategy, financial forecasting, loan package development, business startup and assisting businesses develop a growth plan.
Jennifer Dye is an experienced and innovative leader in Business Management/Leadership. With over fifteen years as a small business owner herself, she is passionate about empowering others and nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit. She excels at partnering with her clients to find solutions to the often complex challenges faced by today’s business owner.
