Legislators Secure Funding for Local Projects
District 30 legislators have secured more than $6 million in funding for projects in District 30. Join Senator Claire Wilson and Representatives Jamila Taylor and Jesse Johnson for a briefing on the projects and initiatives for our District funded in the state budget.
Projects include:
Operating Budget
- Capacity building for youth serving Community Based Organizations - $75,000
- Greater Federal Way Chamber of Commerce - $350,000
- Federal Way Public Schools pre-apprenticeship pathways - $500,000
- After school and summer learning program - $250,000
Capital Budget
- Health Care Kiosk Deployment - $75,000
- One Stop Resource Center for youth - $82,000
- Redondo Fishing Pier - $900,000
- Camp Kilworth - $1,030,000
- Federal Way Little League Fields - $200,000
- Redondo Heights work force housing - $3,000,000
