Did you know the Seahawks have a mindfulness coach? So does Google, Apple, AT&T, Proctor & Gamble, Aetna and General Mills to name a few. A mindfulness practice can reduce stress, can increase concentration, increase engagement at work and at home, decrease reactivity and improve one's sense of well-being.
When surveyed after implementing a mindfulness program, General Mills employees reported:
- 83% of participants said they were “taking time each day to optimize my personal productivity".
- 82% said they now make time to eliminate tasks with limited productivity value.
- 80% of senior executives reported a positive change in their ability to make better decisions
- 89% of senior executives said they became better listeners. (1)
