The RSBG Nursery sells collectible perennials and rare rhododendron species. Buyers may purchase a RSBG membership on-site for early admission to the sale.
Date/Time: Fri. April 20, 2012 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (members enter at 2 p.m.)
Sat. April 21, 2012 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The sale is located on Weyerhaeuser's large west parking lot. Free parking, a plant holding area and shopping carts increase shopping convenience. After shopping, enjoy free admission to the RSBG and the Rutherford Conservatory by showing your sales receipt. As always, there is free admission to the Garden Gift Shop, stocked with beautiful garden-related merchandise.
The Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden is a non-profit membership organization. Members of the American Rhododendron Society founded and incorporated the Foundation in 1964 to secure the finest authentic forms of Rhododendron species and to develop a comprehensive collection of this plant genus. Now dedicated to the conservation, public display, and distribution of Rhododendron species, more than 600 species from the wilds of North America, Europe, and Asia, as well as the tropical regions of Southeast Asia and northern Australia grow in the Garden.
The Garden is now considered to be one of the top botanical gardens in the United States.
