Description

The owners of the restaurant are An Pham & Mai Huynh. We want to celebrate their success and we are inviting many other Asian owned businesses to join in the celebration. Our local banking Federal Way Branch and their Branch Manager Terry Park will be co-hosting the event with me.  

A little about An Pham & Mai Huynh. They were the first of their family to leave Vietnam in 1984 to emigrate to the United States. An & Mai married in 1989 and bought their first house in Federal Way in 1995. The following year they opened Pho Hoang in Federal Way. They have owned the restaurant for 26 years and have served thousands of Federal Way residents during that time. They have 4 children; Diana, Kenny, Peter & Vivian. Over the last 40 years, An had had 3 brothers & 1 sister and Mai has had 3 brothers & 4 sisters emigrate to the United State 

They are an American success story like so many other Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese and Pacific Islanders and many others that make up the diversity of our Federal Way community. We want to celebrate that success and diversity with as many Asian owned business owners as we can.
