It's a social media world and online networking connects you to people, ideas, and jobs. Learn how to enhance your LinkedIn profile with David Gassner, managing staff instructor, LinkedIn Learning Technology Library.
This workshop will explore how to create a LinkedIn profile that brings your personal career story to life, whether you’re just starting out, seeking to advance, or making a career change. You’ll hear tips on tailoring each section of your profile, starting with the key insight that a LinkedIn profile is unique and shouldn’t be approached exactly like a resume. We’ll cover ways to add media to a profile, methods for showcasing your career accomplishments and aspirations, and specific examples of profile phrases and language that can help inspire your personal story.
David Gassner currently serves as Managing Staff Instructor of LinkedIn Learning’s technology library of video-based training courses. He’s a technology professional with over 30 years of experience as a software developer and architect, technical trainer in the classroom and on video, curriculum planner and developer, author of technical books and articles, public speaker and technical team manager. He’s also an active theater artist who produces, directs and performs and helps manage 18th & Union, a storefront performance and community space in Seattle’s Central District.
