DESCRIPTION:Join us as we welcome Jeffrey Veregge\, artist for Marvel's first Native American Character\, Red Wolf. Jeffrey Veregge is an award-winning Native American Comic book artist from the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe in Kingston\, Washington.  His work uses Coastal Salish and contemporary graphic design techniques that create the looked dubbed as Salish Geek by his fans and peers.  Along with his work for Marvel\, NIKE\, Valiant Comics\, Viacom and IDW Publishing\, he has appeared in numerous websites and publications such as Fast Company Magazine\, io9\, Seattle\, Seattle Weekly\, Native Peoples\, Cowboys and Indians and Wired Magazine.  His works and commissions are a part of some prestigious collections such as Yale University\, Washington State Historical Society\, University of Washington\, Tucson Museum of Art and The Seattle Art Museum.\n\n\n\n Veregge also is the Pop & Nerd culture contributor for Indian Country Today Media known as NDN Geek.
